Milled to incredibly small tolerances, Uniclic provides for an extremely tight joint that locks each plank together and prevents water from seeping past the surface layer into the core, which is not waterproof by itself.
- GenuEdge pressed bevel edges
This is what shapes the edge of each plank of Revwood+. GenuEdge is a beveled edge that causes the décor layer to roll over the edge and flow directly into the Uniclic joint for another layer of moisture protection.
- Hydroseal perimeter coating
Some planks inevitably get cut during the installation process, stripping away the waterproof qualities of those planks. This typically affects the perimeter of your floors, so Mohawk engineered Hydroseal 100% silicone hydrophobic sealant to solve the problem and restore spill protection at the perimeters.
