Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: As a design consultant, I assist homeowners in color and pattern selection for all types of projects. I have an extensive background in tile and stone and also work with carpet, luxury vinyl, hardwood and more. I really enjoy the process of helping our customers put together a package that is
just right for them.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc.: I spend much of my time raising my 3 cubs and our new puppy Layla. I am proud to be Aunt to 5 nephews and 2 nieces and spend time with my family is my favorite thing to do. I love painting and decorating my own home. There is something very gratifying about seeing something go from concept to reality. I am the kind of gal that likes Bonfires, Boots and Country Music!

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: Just like my title suggests, I spend most of my day in the business office where I am responsible for many things including our payroll which makes me extra popular on pay day. Working with your spouse can present a unique set of challenges and I am pleased to say that we navigate those very well

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc. I live in Forest with my husband Charles and two of my three children and I also have two “bonus daughters”. Family and faith are very important to me and we love camping and traveling together. In my spare time I enjoy running, exercise and attending races with the boys.

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: I have always felt that one of the most important parts of my job is to provide a stable workplace for our associates. That is best achieved through support and training and doing what I can to assure that Piedmont Floor Show is always a part of the conversation regarding the best flooring dealer in the area. I try to keep our business heading in the right direction and foster relationships with our retail customers and builders. In addition to my administrative duties, I still make a lot of house calls, do estimates and whatever else I can to keep things running smoothly at the shop. Even if that means providing in house pest control or comic relief.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc. I am a proud father and bonus dad to Michael, Lexi, Erika, Skylar, Cooper and Landon. I love the outdoors and enjoy motorsports and supporting my wife and kids in their interests. We really enjoy camping and on occasion traveling to tropical islands. I have been very blessed and think it is important to be of some assistance to those less fortunate. I’m thankful for God’s blessings especially the many team members that are like family and the wonderful customers that have supported our local business.

Third generation, Chase worked summers in the family business until graduating college in 1995 when he joined full time. He became President in 2014 after his father, Wayne DeWitt, retired. Chase has a degree in Housing, Interior Design and Resource Management from Virginia Tech.

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: I have been in the floor covering business since 1987 and spent the bulk of my career with Michael’s Carpet World until they closed in 2019. I found a new home at Piedmont Floors where I spent all of 2020 until we merged with The Floor Show in January of 2021 an am thrilled to say that our team is now even bigger and better.. I am active in both residential and mainstreet commercial sales and do a good bit of estimating, product selection, merchandising, marketing and training. One of the things I enjoy most about what I do is the wonderful people that I have had the pleasure of meeting along the way.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc. I live in Forest with my wife Barb, our daughter Emily and our loveable Chihuahua Barney. Home is our favorite place and we cherish our family time. I love to cook and enjoy exploring my creative side by spending time painting, working with metal and wood and I have even been known to write a poem now and then. Barb and I collaborate on a lot of
projects and I can’t think of anything I would rather do.

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: One of the first points of contact to get your flooring experience started. When you come into Piedmont Floor Show I’m here to help you through the process of selecting your flooring needs.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc.: My hobbies are Reading and a good game of Chess. I enjoy spending time with my family (wife and two daughters ). Always open for friendly conversation and lending a listening ear. My favorite time of year is fall for football season has returned… Go Broncos !

Junior has been with Piedmont Floor Show since 1996 and is a vital part of the warehouse staff. Each morning he assists the installers to be sure they are loaded in a timely and efficient manner and assures that they have everything they need to perform their work for that day. Throughout the day he unloads trucks and tags and organizes all of the materials we receive. His background is in installations and he has worked with just about every material you can think of. Junior is a handy guy and can do just about anything that needs to be done

Away from work he likes to spend time at home with his family and spends his spare time working on vehicles, Grilling or Smoking food for family and friends. Junior also loves to listen to music and has been known to breed pitbulls now and then.

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: Some of my responsibilities include assisting customers, guidance through our product options and helping them with any questions or concerns that may arise during and after their time with us. Even though I am the newest member of Piedmont Floor Show, with years of customer service I can promise you a high level of satisfaction throughout your entire experience.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc. As a fundamentally inquisitive individual, I enjoy creative problem solving. Art, Design, Photography, History and Reading gratifies my curious instincts. I also appreciate spending time outdoors to study nature and admire all the beauty that surrounds us.

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: Nancy has been with Piedmont Floor Show for 19 years and in the flooring business for nearly 30. She started out as a sales associate and has steadily advanced into management. Her 34 years in the industry combined with a natural eye for design makes her the go-to for putting together the look and feel our customers are seeking.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc.: In her off time, Nancy enjoys traveling, decorating for events, baking cakes and goodies for people (we’re happily her test subjects) and spending time with her grandchildren.

Purchasing

Describe what you do at Piedmont Floor Show: I help facilitate each sale in a timely manner by submitting purchase orders to our suppliers and receiving them once they have been delivered to us. I also communicate updates to the sales staff and our customers as necessary. Otherwise, I am happy to help out any way I can.

Something you would like to share about yourself like hobbies, special interests and family etc.: I enjoy spending time with my 2 boys and husband. I love the outdoors, watching sports, Traveling and getting together with friends and family.

“Buck” as we here at Piedmont Floor Show call him, has been with us since 2002 but in the business since 1971.

A man who’s seen almost everything you can see in the flooring industry, he’s our go to guy/trouble shooter. Buck’s position here at Piedmont Floor Show is Retail and Commercial Estimator.

When not at work Buck enjoys cooking, photography and spending time with his grandchildren."

Ricky started with Piedmont Floor Show when it was founded in 1975 and worked with the founder 10 years before the inception of Piedmont Floor Show. Ricky’s most recent position here was Commercial Estimator. He retired in March of 2022 and now has more time to do the things he loves like playing music (he’s an awesome drummer), hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
